Independence Today offers advertisers the equivalent of an infomercial but in print form. Infomercials are television commercials that run as long as a typical television program. Infomercials are also known as paid programming or teleshopping. Some television stations have undertaken to air such programming as an alternative to the former practice of signing off.
The word "infomercial" is a portmanteau of the words "information" and "commercial." As in any other form of advertisement, the content is a commercial message designed to represent the viewpoints and to serve the interest of the sponsor. Infomercials are often made to closely resemble actual television programming or, in print media, articles.

We at Independence Today offer print infomercials to would-be advertisers, whether in print or via Web video, to help them describe their product to our community in-depth. This opportunity allows advertisers to point out the unique aspects of their product while targeting the population for which it was intended. This helps the consumer by educating him or her to the proper use of the product or service. These "print infomercials" are clearly marked "advertisement" and are available in one- and two-column lengths. Special rates apply to this form of advertising.

Print infomercials are designed to solicit a direct response that is specific and quantifiable and are, therefore, a form of direct-response marketing (not to be confused with direct marketing). The ad response is delivered directly to the consumer by infomercial advertisers through the written word or ad. In regular advertising or commercials, advertisers do not solicit a direct response from the consumer but, instead, brand their product in the marketplace among potential buyers.
