Academy's Humanitarian Award for Lewis Gets
a Big Thumbs-Down
December 10th was also when the Academy of Motion Picture
Arts and Sciences' Board of Governors announced its decision to give Jerry
Lewis the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award, to be presented at the 81st annual
